Who is this Kimbundance you speak of?

This is my abundance saying I say every morning.

Kimbundance is my creative named coined by The Baker at beyondsuccess.wordpress.com.
Originally, the word "abundance" is a term used to describe something high quantities, an unlimited amount of any given substance. Abundance can come in forms of knowledge, friends, health, and overall wealth. "Kimbundance" is my creative name that encompasses all of that for the near future. It's a name that prepares myself for the abundant wealth that will soon come into my future.

At the end of the day, I am just a student-learning the way life works and being tested day after day. I would like to pass these exams with flying colors, but yet I am still human who makes mistakes. One day, I would like to be all that Kimbundance encompasses. Because it is her who knows what is ultimately right. She is the one who can make major changes in this world and she knows how to let other people know about the simplicity's of life. Now, more than ever-we are bombarded with the media, social fixations and negativity. So it is important to stay humble, to stay focused on your dream and to look at life through a different perspective.

It is never too late to be great!

NOW and LATER

Present Moment?
I love seizing the moment! It is when I feel most alive and vibrant. I feel as if it is the best gift I have ever received in my life. It is the ultimate joy and definition of life--the present moment! Wow, what a concept! How could something so simple be taken for granted. Being in the now or 'present moment' is having an optimistic, upbeat feeling about what you are doing whether it be cleaning your room, going to the mechanic or sitting in class. Whatever you are doing, your mind is the main culprit that can allow you to feel crummy and irritable or excited and cheerful!

What do we do in the now that dictates our later?

For most of us, when we wake up- we have an agenda. We decide what needs to be prepared, what needs to be accomplished today and what should be done before the week ends. It is a short-term preparation. What we sometimes fail to prepare for is our later or 'our future'. Our future visualization is as important to plan out as our daily schedules. When we make time (even 5 minutes) to visualize or speak about our future, we are making those dreams a future reality. As we speak, write and/or visualize how we see our lives in the near future, we are ultimately setting the stage for our wonderful lives that are ahead of us.

Therefore, to truly have a joyful life-begin to enjoy this moment right now and remember to visualize your amazing future that you would like to see in the upcoming years because your thoughts, words and actions are ultimately creating exactly what you want.

When You're in a Pickle...

The other day I asked one of my cousins for a book that I purchased awhile back entitled, "How to Major in Success" by Patrick Combs. A great book/tool I highly recommend especially for those who are just entering into college or who is undecided on what to major in college. This book greatly, greatly, greatly! helped me through the rough times in figuring out which major to pursue.

Last Winter, I was faced with the biggest change in my life, to switch from the traditional perception of taking up nursing as a major to taking a MAJOR step into my life's own true happiness and joy. And this by far is the best change I've ever made in my 21 years of living.
Prior to switching my major, I was lost, confused, irritable, unsure and not to mention in bad physical condition-I was always sick with a cold or had a horrible stomach flu. It was a very confusing and unpromising life style.

Some time after I changed my nursing major, I instantly (and I mean instantly!) felt better, relieved-as if I had just struck gold! I was eager, ecstatic, lively and for once.....happy.

As time went by being "undeclared" in college, I purposely read through many self-help books trying to push me into the right direction. I talked to my peers and elderly people about where to go from here, which steps to make, what I have to be or do. Of course, I ran into those who thought I was absolutely nuts about dropping the nursing major but at that point, I just had to bypass all of the talk about money this and job that.

Then after much thinking and writing, it dawned on me, if you are ever in a tough situation; You've got to listen and wait for your intuition to tell me what to do, you've got to figure out what you like to do and what keeps you up and about!
And on one cold winter day, I found it! The answer I've been waiting for for so long. That feeling and moment......was priceless!

So let it be known, when you listen to what you're intuition and body is telling you, you better write it down and analyze it because that right there is what life is all about; living a life that you've chosen for yourself and nobody else. Because at the end of the day, when all is said and done, it's just you-living with yourself and if you're happy and living your life with genuine happiness then you ARE untouchable and nothing, nothing! will phase you!
