Another Vegas Trip, Another Lesson Learned
Vegas (again) this time with family was a Valentine's/All-Star/President's Day weekend! So there was a lot going on, but still managed to have some fun with the familia. It was a good relief on account of my 2 finals that I had during that week.
On Sunday, we went to church about 10 miles from the strip and the sermon was the best I've heard so far. It was really passionate and clear. It was inspiring and made me wake up to the realization that I can be a better and understanding person. Sometimes we just forget to do what we know is right and you'll know because your conscious will remind you day in and day out. It's really hard trying to be morally good these days with peer pressure and yearning to do what feels good. However, at the end of the day, there comes a point when you'll realize what you've done wrong.
Actions are strong and it's never to late to surrender and say, "Yes I've messed up and I'm sorry."
Today, I witnessed something completely different from the mundane and it was an eye-opener for those who were there and it just goes back to surrendering and admitting that you have done wrong and that you are sorry for what you've done.
So don't be afraid to admit that you have done wrong, because once you've admitted to it, then things will flow naturally and smoothly again.
Lesson learned,
