April is Stress Awareness Month

Who knew there was a month dedicated to being aware of stress?

With every single thing going on in our lives, stress seems to unvaryingly creep up into our lives and lingers around at random occasions. Heavy work load, final exams, having to balance children and work can pose many types of stressful factors in our lives.

The main thing to remember about alleviating stress is to set aside time for you. Your state of well-being is very important. When you are not in a positive and/or relaxed state, then all the energy you will be giving off will be a dull and unpleasant feeling (no matter how well you hide it).

Be aware of your unconscious and conscious thoughts. You may not even know it, but when you think badly about yourself and/or other people, you are emitting that harmful, negative energies out to the world. The more bad thoughts you think, the more bad things will come your way.

Try and relax your mind and think of happy, beautiful and uplifting thoughts. Perhaps even say positive affirmations when you are driving in your car or walking down the street. (Try repeating. "I am unlimited abundance and I am safe and happy in the universe.") When you are not stressed and you are at peace with yourself, difficult situations and hardships will much easier to overcome.

So, let's begin May 2009 with a positive and upbeat awareness and soon others will catch our contagious feel-good vibe.

The Upside of Failure

Failure is something we dislike as much as the taste of bitter melon. It is one of the causes of depression, suicide and low self-esteem. And not to mention, we all will experience this throughout our lifetime here on Earth.

Remember These Facts About Failure:

FAILURE IS GOOD: Failure is awesome! When one fails, they recognize that they are human, they are weak and at some point they must surrender to proceed with life. When we fail-we automatically build the characteristics of perseverance, motivation and the willingness to conquer greater heights. Without failing, one cannot win.

FAILURE IS EASY: If we do not genuinely try, we will fail. But what happens when we DO try and we still fail? When we try our best and still fail, we did not actually TRY our best. At some point there must have been an ounce of laziness or a time where we just did not interpret the correct information. This happens to a lot of people and thus creating failure to exist. Sometimes we actually put our whole being in preparing not to fail, that we forget what's really important in our lives-thus, leading us to fail.

FAILURE MEANS YOU HAVE A FUTURE: When we fail, we create characteristics that help us to grow. When you get back up again and decide to TRY it a second, third or fourth time, you will be moving towards the future. This means that life is still moving forward for you and that there is so much in store for you to move forth.

Therefore, do not be discouraged when you fail at something, this is a great sign that you are a great human being who has been placed on this Earth to conquer so much more. This is my saying, ""What's good about life is that you live in the present moment and if something doesn't go your way, life continues to move on and you will be able to experience greater and better things as life continues to move forward."

Peace and Abundance to all!
